BIOMOR, a member of the Stockton Group, is a research based company in the field of natural products having biocidal applications. Founded in 2002, we have managed in a very short time to develop and commercialize a number of products based on our proprietary, patented intellectual property for the conventional, IPM, and organic agricultural markets. In 2004, the company was awarded the First Place Excellence Award for the Outstanding Project of Technological Incubators in Israel by the Israeli government. In 2003, the Stockton Group acquired a controlling interest in the company.

 

Further, we leverage our outstanding familiarity with regional crop protection requirements to create custom products - specially designed to meet the needs of specific regional crop configurations, biological parameters and regulatory guidelines.

Our R&D is devoted to creating and developing scientifically proven biocides that cater to the myriad needs of modern agricultural and today’s food consumer markets. Over the past several years, our team of professionals, in our state of the art laboratories, has developed significant expertise and experience in developing natural crop protection solutions that are effective and environmentally friendly. To us, meeting those goals means that we are able to prevent and/or cure the effects of pests, weeds, and plant diseases in a manner that is suitable for conventional IPM and/or organic farming. Our natural pesticides have the added value of leaving no residues, reducing the overall chemical load, reducing risks to the environment, including beneficial insects and bees, and removing limitations on PHI (Pre Harvest Intervals) or re-entry. Equally important, we have also been successful in scientifically proving effective tools in resistance management such as the integration of these products via alternation and mixtures with the prevailing conventional products. Our products, therefore, are making a significant contribution to developing IPM strategies and modern agricultural practices.

 

As a result of our efforts, we have succeeded in creating a portfolio of new generation biopesticides that are based on our proprietary intellectual property. At the forefront of our portfolio is our Timorex Gold, which has proven to be an effective product in the prevention and cure of Black sigatoka affecting bananas. In addition, we have succeeded with natural products that control various other plant diseases such as powdery mildew and downy mildew, early and late blight, alternaria, cercospora and other diseases in a variety of crops, such as tomatoes, cucurbits, peppers, potatoes, carrots, and grapes. We are continuously expanding the range of our solutions for additional target pathogens and crops that enable farmers to grow high quality crops and maximize profit.
